Children are important at First Baptist.  We want our preschoolers to feel loved and secure and begin to sense the love of Jesus as teachers love and care for them.  Our goal is to help children to grow as Jesus grew: Physically, Mentally, Socially and Spiritually in an atmosphere of Christian love.

Preschool/Children Ministries provide Bible teaching in Sunday School for all ages each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Bible learning activities reinforce the lesson taught. We include memory work. Children are also included in missions and music organizations.

During the year we have fun activities like Easter Eggstravaganza, Fall Kick-off, Movie Nights and other special events.  Annually we hold Children's Day where children lead in worship.  Every Sunday during worship we offer a Children's Sermon.

Each summer we have Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 through Grade 6. This summer kids will travel to Camp Dixie for several days for PASSPORTkids! 

We provide Child Care for all times when adults are meeting.  Parents are invited to join us for parenting classes as they are offered periodically.
